I was looking through some of my old art and I found this old concept art of, Willow. Notice the clean lines? This is before my eyes started to get bad.

Also, notice she didn't have a gauntlet. She was just a very powerful Mystic.

I really like this design, especially the cropped jacket, and the simple detailing on the shoulders.

When I draw a concept for a comic I try to make it as simple as possible because I'll be drawing that same concept on several pages. I have to admit though that drawing the same thing does get boring.

Yeah little cleaner... but it's not too bad. You still draw amazing. Now when I compare mine, my new stuff looks like it was drawn by a one eyed right handed thirdgrader using their left hand. I think you tend to notice it more when it's your own art because you know it so much better. I can tell how much pain medication i need to take by looking at my drawings. It's weird i look at old ones and am like "man I felt terrible that day." Don't worry about the glasses you'll get used to them, but yeah it's frustrating. I only get upset when i see ones and know I felt better than I ever will again which is what all of yours are like to you. That stinks. I wish I could fix it for you. If I die soon you can have my eyes ok? they are just a little fuzzy. I'll have them ship the glasses too.

Know what it is I've been comparing and your light reflection on the skin and stuff aren't blended quite as much. Maybe try to work on that or something? I don't know. I'm just clinging to the fantasy it's easily fixable.

Holy moly that outfit! I love the sexiness of it but the fact that it is still tasteful!

Really though, I think you are keeping up with that loss of eyesight very well. I would have never noticed this was older art had you not mentioned it, considering it looks just as bit wonderful as your current works.

Maybe I'm just being lazy or something. The thought of having to draw the "string under bikini thing" might have been a pain to do. I try to do my best in trying to keep up with my old way of drawing. I have a separate pair of specs for that job. Before, I never had to wear glasses.

Welcome to the world of us who wear glasses for everything. >___< It's a pretty scary concept when it develops late, because you never know how far it goes. I remember only needing glasses to read in the distance. Now I couldn't read the book in front of me without them.
